These functions can be used to consult the data for the different companies figuring in the Official Register of Contractors of the Basque Autonomous Community.

The Register Consultation functions enable the following:

• Consultation of data on the companies or contractors figuring in the Register.
  
• Consultation of data on the companies or contractors that have obtained the Classification required for participating in public contracts with this requisite.
  

The search result (fig.1) displays a list of Companies matching the search conditions, with each one's registration number. Click on a Company in the list to access its company details (fig.2), which are as follows: Company Address, Registration Number, Tax Number, Registered Address, Telephone, Business Activity, Date Entered in Register, Classification, Object.

Basque Public Administration officials may access the function "VIEW COPY OF CERTIFICATION", through which they may view and print out a COPY of the Registration Certificate in force for a particular company.

The search can be made using one or more selection criteria, and the search result will list companies matching these requirements. If several search criteria are indicated, the result will list companies matching all the criteria.


Two types of selection criteria can be entered:

:: Company Identification Data:

• Registration number. If the company's registration number in the Register is known, this criterion will enable you to access the data for the Company with this number.
  
  
• Tax Number: If the Company's tax number is known, this criterion will enable you to access the data for the Company with this number.
  
  
• Company Name and Address: this is the most commonly used criterion. It enables you to obtain a list of all the companies whose name and address contain the text you have entered as a search condition.
  
  
• Historical Territory: There is a drop-down menu to search for Companies based in the provinces of Guipúzcoa, Vizcaya and Álava.
  
  
• Business Activity: There is a drop-down menu (on the left) to search for a particular activity from a list.
   

:: Company Classification Data:

•  Type of Company: There is a drop-down menu (on the left) to search for a particular type of company from a list.
  
  
• Classification Group (one or more): this function is only accessible to accredited officials.
  
  
• Classification Sub-group: this function is only accessible to accredited officials.
  
  
• Classification Category: this function is only accessible to accredited officials.
  
  
• Indicator for selecting companies of a higher category than that indicated: this function is only accessible to accredited officials.
