The Basque Government runs a programme of visits to the headquarters of several of the region's institutions, designed to give the Basques the chance to see how they work.

The usual programme involves:

·          Visit to the Museum of the Basque police force (Ertzaintza) at the Basque Police Academy in Arkaute (Álava).

·          Visit to the home of the Basque Government at Lakua in Vitoria. Visit includes ithe screening of a video on the region and its common institutions.

·          Visit to the Basque Parliament in La Florida Park, Vitoria.

For each visit, the order of the programme is arranged depending on the schedule for the day in question at each place. The length and extent of the visits to these institutions may be modified.

In any case the programme is always subject to changes depending on the priorities of the events' calendar of the institutions involved.
